This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and browser storage Subtly (“we”, “us”) uses. Subtly is a product of Tigro (Obrt Tigro Vlasnik Žilić Ajsel), a sole proprietorship registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We never use advertising cookies, and never sell data gathered from cookies.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Cookies let a website remember things between page loads, such as your sign-in session. Local storage is a separate browser feature that can save preferences on your device.
Cookies we use
- Authentication cookies. Cookies using the
caption-controlprefix keep you signed in and support secure authentication. Sessions last up to seven days and may be renewed while you use the Service. Additional short-lived cookies may be used during authentication and authorization flows. - Workspace selection. The
caption_tenantcookie remembers your selected workspace for up to one year. We still check your permissions on each request; this cookie does not grant access by itself. - AI-assistant connection. The
caption_mcp_grantcookie ties an MCP authorization request to your browser. It lasts up to ten minutes and is cleared when authorization completes.
Theme preference
When you choose a light or dark theme, we save the preference in local storage under theme. This is not a tracking cookie. It remains on your device until you change it or clear the site’s browser storage.
Cookieless analytics
We use Umami, hosted by Tigro, for basic statistics about visits to our public website and documentation. It works without tracking cookies. We do not use advertising pixels, social-media tracking cookies, or cross-site tracking, and we never use analytics to build advertising profiles. Our Privacy Policy explains what these statistics include and how we keep account activity and customer content out of analytics.
Other services
If you follow a link to a payment page or connect a third-party application, that provider’s own cookie and privacy policies apply on its service.
Managing cookies and preferences
You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing authentication cookies signs you out; clearing workspace or theme preferences resets those choices. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in or connected-app authorization from working.
We do not show an advertising-cookie consent banner because we do not set advertising or analytics cookies. We use authentication and workspace cookies to provide the service you request, and save your theme preference when you choose it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how cookies or browser storage work, we will update this page and revise the date above. We will obtain consent where applicable law requires it.
